EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park Community High School’s theater and music departments are planning a big opening for the musical comedy fantasy “Christmas By Remote Control.” Performances are 7 p.m. Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, with a 2 p.m. matinée on Dec. 15. The production features a cast of over 80 students from grades 4 through 12.

“Christmas By Remoted Control” was conceived by Ed Fudacz and debuted in the early 1990's with the Beverly Theatre Guild. The story follows the adventures of bad-mood Eddie as Santa Claus takes him on a magical, musical trip around the world with the help of Santa’s magical remote control to teach Eddie the true meaning of Christmas.

The musical offers families the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Tickets are $6 and $5 and can be purchased online at ShowTix4U. Performances will be at EPCHS, 9901 S. Kedzie Ave., Evergreen Park.
