EPCHS Will Dedicate Talent Show To Memory of Sixth-Grade Musician

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Community High School students are dedicating their talent show to the memory of sixth-grade musician Alan Reyes, who passed away in February. Students at the high school have requested to use the April 5 talent show as a benefit to raise money for Dist’ 124’s band program, where Alan was so involved.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, in the EPCHS Batho Auditorium, 9901 S. Kedzie Ave. and features 15 acts, including slam poetry, dance and pop music. Tickets are $5. Proceeds from the show will be used to purchase much-needed sheet music and for district instrument repairs.

Alan was a proud member of the Central Middle School band, where he was known as a fine musician. EPCHS students want to pack the house this Friday. Tickets can be reserved by emailing Ben Nesler at bnesler@evergreenpark.org.
