Evergreen Park Dist. 124 Opens Kindergarten Enrollment

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Kindergarten enrollment for Evergreen Park ESD 124 schools will be held from 1 to 7 p.m., Feb. 26 through Feb. 28, at the D124 Administrative Center, 2929 W. 97th St. Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children as early as possible to allow the district to better plan for the 2019–2020 school year.

To help expedite the registration process, parents can pick up a registration packet now available at Northeast, Northwest, Southwest and Southeast elementary schools. Children turning five years old by Sept. 1, 2019, are eligible.

When reporting to the D124 Administrative Center, bring the following documents:

• Child’s original birth certificate
• Child’s social security number
• Proof of residency: black out any account and/or social security numbers on the documents. All documents must be current (within the past 30 days) and show the parent/guardian’s name and current address.

Homeowners should provide a current mortgage statement/current mortgage papers or homeowner’s insurance declaration policy statement to demonstrate proof of residency.

If renting or leasing a home, provide the original signed and dated lease listing all tenants AND proof of the most current month’s payment, e.g. canceled check or receipts (renters) AND the landlord’s certificate of inspection from the Village of Evergreen Park. Also, two current additional items of identification demonstrating proof of residency showing the residents address (i.e. automobile insurance policy, credit card bill, telephone bill, utility bill, paycheck stub, or bank statement); and a current photo ID (e.g., Illinois driver’s license, Illinois state ID).
