Evergreen Park Police Locate Parents of 'Non-Verbal' Boy: UPDATED

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park police have located the parents of a young boy who was found wandering the streets of Evergreen Park in his pajamas on Sunday.

Police said the boy was "non-verbal" and could not tell officers his name. He was in good health and spirits while in police custody. The child, who appeared to be 4 to 5 years old, was found walking in the 2700 block of West 97th Street. Neighbors in the area had no idea who he was.
