EP Schools Call e-Learning Ahead Of Winter Storm: UPDATED 3X

ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — Schools are starting to announce closings in anticipation of a winter storm on Friday that could dump up to nine inches of snow in parts with 50 mph wind gusts of the Chicago area.

Winter storm watches have been issued beginning late Thursday evening into early Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

While school buildings will be closed, e-Learning will be in effect Friday, gypping kids out of an actual snow day.

Here are the school closings for Friday, Jan. 12, in Evergreen Park:

Evergreen Park ESD 124- closed, e-Learning

Evergreen Park Community High School 231 - closed, e-Learning
