Fruit, Veggies And COVID Shots Available At EP Farmers Market

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — How about a COVID-19 shot while picking up your fruits and veggies at the Evergreen Park Farmers Market?

The Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting a pop-up clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 23, during the farmers market at Yukich Fields, 89th Street and Kedzie Avenue.

The Illinois Department of Public Health will be administering first- and second-dose Pfizer and Moderna, along with single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines. The vaccine is available to anyone 16 and older for the Moderna and J&J. Children age 12 and over can receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Vaccines will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
