Heroin Found Hidden In Woman’s Bra: Cops

Prosecutor said the Justice woman was picked up on an outstanding warrant for retail theft when heroin was found.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- A Justice woman is facing new felony drug charges after she was picked up on a warrant, prosecutors said. Diana Paulausky, 33, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Paulausky was arrested Christmas Day in Oak Lawn on a retail theft warrant out of Evergreen Park, the prosecutor said. Police there contacted Evergreen Park police, who came and brought Paulausky to the station.

According to the charges, three plastic baggies containing 1 gram of what field tested positive for heroin. The heroin was found inside the woman’s bra.

Bail for the new charge was set at $10,000, and $2,500 on the pending retail theft case. Paulausky is due back in court Jan. 16 in Bridgeview.
