High School Senior Caught With 125 Bags Of Heroin: Prosecutor
Cops found heroin and drugs in ceiling liner in vehicle during undercover investigation of high school senior, prosecutor said.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- A high school senior targeted in an undercover drug sting was arrested after police found heroin and crack hidden between the ceiling liner of his vehicle, prosecutors said. Kevon Brown, 18, of Chicago, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a Class X charge of manufacture and delivery of heroin and two lesser felony charges of possession of controlled substance. The prosecutor said it was Brown’s first arrest.
An undercover Evergreen Park detective called Brown on March 21 and arranged to buy some heroin for $40, the prosecutor said. The two met at the McDonalds near 84th Street and Pulaski Road, according to the charges. Brown allegedly sold four bags of heroin and fentanyl weighing 1.5 grams to the cop. The prosecutor said Brown and the cop returned on April 3 to the same location, where another $40 heroin-fentanyl transaction was made.
On April 11 the cop and Brown again agreed to meet at McDonalds, the prosecutor said. When Brown was reportedly on his way, police pulled him over in the 8400 block of Pulaski Road. Police searched Brown’s vehicle. In the ceiling liner near the interior light, the prosecutor said cops found 125 plastic baggies of heroin weighing 34 grams, and 18 knotted baggies of 2.6 grams of suspect crack-cocaine.
