Hoist A Stein Saturday At Evergreen Park Oktoberfest

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Music, drinks, food and fun for all ages will be on tap Saturday, Oct. 5, at Evergreen Park Oktoberfest. The fest runs from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Evergreen Park Community Center, in Klein (Circle) Park, 3450 W. 97th St.

The fall frolic features plenty of activities for the young folks from 2 to 6 p.m., including Mr. Scott’s Music Show, pony rides, petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting Touch-a-Truck and more.

There is also an exciting lineup for the big folks with a Beer Garden, DJ, line dancing and a Stein-Hoisting Contest (officiated by the EP Podcast’s Chris Lanuti), capped off with a live performance by the SunFallen band, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Also joining the fund are EP Podcast, Evergreen Park Lions Club, the library, youth department, fire department, police department, public works and Lemolade Pop-up.

The Evergreen Park American Legion 854 will also have a table where members will answer questions about the post and benefits of membership.

Food and drink options include the Evergreen Park Fire Department and youth department, as well as Unidad, Barracos, Quincy Pasta, Spoke and Vine, Happy Jack’s and Rojo Verde Tacos.
