Ice Rink Hours at Yukich Field, Sledding At Sexton Park

A ton of outdoor fun is in store for Evergreen Park families over the winter break at Yukich Field and Sexton Park.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — A ton of winter fun is in store for Evergreen Park kids when winter break starts this week. The ice rink is open at Yukich Field, 89th Street and Kedzie Avenue.

Open skate fees for skaters 17 and under are $5 for residents, $6 for non-residents; adults are $6 for residents, $7 for non-residents; and seniors age 65+ are $4 for residents and $5 for non-residents.

Hockey skate fees for hockey rats 17 and under are $7 for residents/$8 non-residents; adults $7 for residents/ $8 non-residents; and seniors 65+ are $7 for residents/$8 non-residents. Skate rental is also available for $4.

Thursday, Dec. 22
Open Skate: 5 to 7 p.m.
Stick and Puck: 7 to 9 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 23
Open Skate: 2 to 6 p.m.
Rat Hockey: 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 24
Open Skate: Noon to 2 p.m.
Stick and Puck: 2 to 4 p.m.

CLOSED CHRISTMAS DAY

Monday, Dec 26
Open Skate: 2 to 6:30 p.m.

And, bring your sleds over to Sexton Park (formerly 50-Acre Park), 91st Street and Rockwell.

As an added reminder, village hall and community center will be closing at noon Friday, Dec. 23 and will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
