Mosquito Spraying Set for Cemeteries Wednesday Evening

The South Cook County Mosquito Abatement District will be spraying for mosquitoes tonight (Wednesday) in St. Mary’s and Evergreen Cemetery beginning around 8 p.m.

Cemeteries are being sprayed because mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus.

St. Mary’s Cemetery is located at 87th Street and Hamlin Avenue. Evergreen Cemetery is located at 3401 W. 87th Street. Only the cemeteries are being sprayed at this time.

The South Cook County Mosquito Abatement District makes all decisions concerning when and where areas get sprayed.
