Chicago parolee is accused of selling crack to an undercover Evergreen Park cop on four separate occasions near Yukich Field.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- A Chicago parolee is accused of selling crack to an undercover cop on four separate occasions. Antonio Jones, 29, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and manufacture and delivery of cocaine near a public park.

The prosecutor said Jones sold approximately 25 grams of crack-cocaine four different times to an undercover Evergreen Park police officer on Jan. 11, Jan. 12, Jan. 15 and Jan. 16. All of the alleged transactions happened within 1,000 feet of Yukich Field at 89th Street and Kedzie Avenue, court records indicated.

After the last sale, police pulled Jones over in the 3100 block of West 88th Street allegedly for failing to signal, driving on a suspended license and no valid insurance. The prosecutor said the pre-recorded funds used by police in the controlled buys were found in Jones’ pants pocket.
