• Sunny skies draw big crowd for Evergreen Park Oktoberfest (southwestregionalpublishing.com) — Evergreen Park residents packed the Hamilton B. Maher Center lot and Klein Park for the fifth annual Oktoberfest, enjoying food, music, kids' activities, and perfect fall weather. Village leaders, firefighters, and local vendors helped serve crowds while families took pony rides, scaled a climbing wall, and explored fire trucks and public works vehicles throughout the day.
