Popular Christmas Without Cancer 'Harvesting Hope' Benefit Returns
Christmas Without Cancer's popular fundraiser returns Nov. 5 at 115 Bourbon Street, featuring exciting raffles, games and live music.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL – Harvesting Hope, the hugely popular fundraiser which benefits the non-for-profit Christmas Without Cancer returns Saturday, Nov. 5. Harvesting Hope runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St., Merrionette Park. The benefit features live entertainment, exciting raffles, and fun for the entire community.
Open to ages 21 and above, admission to Harvesting Hope is $50 per person, with tickets available for purchase at the door or in advance online at Christmas Without Cancer.
Harvesting Hope will kick off with a not-to-be-missed live music performance by Grace and John. Featuring a variety of music for every taste, Grace and John are an acoustic duo who will have everyone dancing. Food and drinks will also be available throughout the afternoon.

A variety of raffles – worth thousands of dollars in prizes – will also be offered. The “Southside’s Finest” raffle will feature gift certificates from more than 10 local restaurants, and $100 in Illinois Lottery scratch-off tickets. A “Liquor Wagon” raffle will feature a collapsible folding wagon cart piled his with more than 30 specialty liquor offerings, and Yeti products. Specialty raffle tickets are one for $10; and three for $20. Tickets may be purchased at the event, or in advance, by visiting the “Harvesting Hope” Facebook page.

Plinko: Come On Down! The most popular game to ever be played on “The Price is Right” will once again be a crowd-pleaser at Harvesting Hope. For $10 per chance, contestants will be given a round flat disc to use on the Plinko Board. Various prizes such as gift certificates, t-shirts, and more will be awarded to lucky winners.
Punch-A-Bunch: Another favorite game on The Price is Right, Punch-A-Bunch will feature a board where guests can punch through a piece of paper to win a variety of prizes such as gift certificates, koozies, bracelets, lottery scratch offs, and more. Each punch will cost $10.
Wine Pull: A favorite from past events, the Wine Pull will offer the opportunity to choose a bottle of wine from a variety of price ranges, many of which will have surprise gift certificates to various businesses. Each wine pull chance will be $10. Participants are guaranteed a bottle of wine worth $10.
Specialty item raffles: Guests will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets to be entered to win a variety of exciting items, including an Oculus, Yeti Cooler, Roomba, Airpod Pros, a laptop, Cricut machine, Blackstone Grill, Remote Car Start from Toyota, Fitness Membership at St. Xavier University, and much more. Tickets will be available for purchase for three for $20
Basket raffles: An incredible array of baskets filled to the rim with amazing items will be raffled. Tickets for the basket raffles will be six for $5.
For nearly two decades, Christmas Without Cancer has aided thousands of people across the Chicago area by adopting multiple families who are going through the devastation of cancer, by supplying them with gift cards for groceries, medications, gas, and other “need” items. The organization has also helped with mortgage payments, rent, tuition, daycare, and travel related expenses for treatment.
