Man Robs 7-Eleven, Makes Employee Lie Down On Floor: Cops
Hickory Hills police say robbery is similar to others in area.

HICKORY HILLS, IL -- A man robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Monday evening in Hickory Hills, making off with cash and cigarettes. The robbery happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Citgo-7-Eleven store at 7700 95th St., according to police information.
Police said the man entered the store and jumped the counter. Surveillance photos show an employee laying on the floor while the man looted the cash register. The man was last seen leaving the store on foot carrying cartons of smokes and cash.
The alleged robber was described as a male white, 5-feet-11-inches tall, with a slim build. He was dressed in all black clothing, including a hat, scar across his face, and gloves. Police say the robbery is similar to others in Summit and Berwyn.
