Shots Fired Near Evergreen Cemetery: REPORTS

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Shots were reportedly fired near an Evergreen Park cemetery, according to police sources. The incident may have involved a funeral procession into the cemetery. Two people are said to be in custody.

The incident unfolded shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, at Evergreen Cemetery, 3701 W. 87th St., in Evergreen Park. Police and K9s were on the scene searching the cemetery for a third person who may be involved. The Evergreen Police Mobile Command Unit was seen entering the cemetery.
