Stranger Seen On Surveillance Video Entering Resident's Yard

Evergreen Park police said the man tried to open the resident's back door, then left when he couldn't open it.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park police are alerting southwest quadrant residents of a suspicious man who was captured on a Ring camera system entering a resident’s back yard in the middle of the night.

Around 2:11 a.m. Oct. 24, the man entered a backyard in the 10100 block of Central Park Avenue, police said. The man tried to enter through the back door of the residence but was unsuccessful.

The man is approximately 20 to 30 years old, white, and with a beard. He was wearing a beige winter hat, light colored hack and dark pants.
