11 Musical Acts Featured Friday In EPCHS Talent Show In Support Of 'I AM ALS'
Evergreen Park Community High School talent show features 11 musical acts Friday, March 13. Proceeds from tickets will go toward 'I AM ALS.'

EVERGREEN PARK, IL—The kids at Evergreen Park Community High School are putting on a show! The 2025-2026 EPCHS Talent Show will be held Friday, March 13. The talent show begins at 7 p.m. in the high school’s Marshall G. Batho Auditorium, 9901 S. Kedzing Ave.
All proceeds from the show’s $5 ticket sales will benefit I AM ALS, a major ALS support organization committed to offering comprehensive resources for families battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
“Our programs are aimed at educating the public about ALS disease, pushing for policy reforms, and assisting families afflicted by the disease,” the organization said on its website. “We empower patients and caregivers to become advocates, fund cutting-edge research initiatives, and build compassionate communities through peer-to-peer support and storytelling.”

The talent show is an annual event organized by the EPCHS National Honor Society under the direction of faculty sponsor Ben Nesler. This year’s lineup will feature 11 acts, all musical performances.
“The annual NHS talent benefit concert has become a beloved event in this 16th year of holding the show,” Nesler said. “The student performers always do such a great job entertaining the very supportive audience… It is arguably one of the best nights of the school year.”

Nesler said the I AM ALS charity was selected by NHS students from a group of member-nominated charities.
“We hope that everyone who is able can come out and support a worthy charity and help fight ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease,” he added.
This year’s lineup includes all musical performances, including multiple singing acts, student piano extraordinaire Alex Francisco, guitarists and a performance from EPCHS’ new Folkloric Dance Club that formed earlier in the school year.
Also, making a return to the stage at their alma maters will be a trio of Evergreen Park Mustang alums from the 2000s and 2010s, who will join longtime EPCHS teacher and coach Pat Flannigan as “Coach Flannigan and the Alumni All-Stars Band.”
Nesler said, “The talent this year will feature student bands, lots of folkloric dancing, plenty of singing, and multi-talented EPCHS student Adam Bosch displaying his skill of identifying perfect pitch… We are talking about sound waves!”
Tickets will be available at the door for $5.
