Village-Wide Mosquito Spraying Set for Wednesday

The South Cook County Mosquito Abatement District will be out in full force Wednesday evening (Sept. 9) spraying for mosquitoes.

All of Evergreen Park will be sprayed between 6:30 and 11 p.m. Although the spray is non-toxic to humans, those with allergies or other respiratory issues should take preventative measures by closing windows and staying inside.

The village also advises keeping pets indoors.

The spray acts quickly and is out of the air within an hour after the trucks pass.
