• STEAM challenge brings racing to life (fairburynews.net) — Fairbury’s Prairie Central Elementary third graders turned the gym into a mini race shop this week, building “muscle karts” with help from Fairbury Speedway drivers and pit crew members. The STEAM-focused project tied classroom lessons to real-world racing design, with support from Illinois State University, PC High School students, and a long list of local volunteers.
