Customers Enjoy Food Sampling in Celebration of ‘A Taste of Black History'

Harold Triche (left) president of Best Fruit and Nuts, offers Mike Loisi of Forest Park, Ill., a sample of his products, during a free tasting event for JEWEL-OSCO’s “A Taste of Black History” program.  The event was held recently at the JEWEL-OSCO at  7525 West Lake St., in River Forest, Ill.

“A Taste of Black History” recognizes the contributions and achievements of JEWEL-OSCO’s African-American vendors, many of whom are based in the Chicago area. As part of the program, now in its 14th year, JEWEL-OSCO held the free sampling events at select stores during February.
