Village officials are split over using the Altenheim versus a CTA parking lot, even as engineers finalize designs and a new Jackson Boulevard water main, with construction expected to start next spring. 
• Commissioners voice support for police dept. amid 'maligning' comments (forestparkreview.com) — Forest Park commissioners are publicly backing the local police department after an ICE agent was briefly allowed into the station, a move the mayor has called a mistake. Officials now say they want to rebuild trust, engage residents on immigrant protections, and clarify how to handle similar situations while still supporting officers' work.
