• Fighting Scots Baseball Rallies Past Beloit but Season Ends with Loss to IC (977wmoi.com) — Forsyth baseball fans will recognize hometown player Jacob Blunck contributing a key single as Monmouth College battled through the Midwest Conference Tournament. The Fighting Scots edged Beloit 7–6 in a resumed game but then fell 11–4 to Illinois College, ending their season despite a huge two-homer day from Aidan Parkins and strong efforts from several Illinois-based teammates.
