Frankfort Starts 2026 Road Resurfacing Projects

FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort is starting its 22026 Road Resurfacing Program, which will affect several streets throughout town.

Funded through a $5 million allocation in the Village’s Capital Development budget, this year’s program targets local street segments for comprehensive pavement patching, hot-mix asphalt resurfacing and other repairs, the Village said.

"Streets were prioritized utilizing data from our field surveys evaluating pavement age and structural condition," according to the Village.

Neighborhoods will remain open to residents, emergency services, and deliveries, but there will be localized temporary parking restrictions.
