'Biggest Loser' Contestant in Town to Perform at Marathon

Frankfort native and Biggest Loser contestant Dan Evans will perform at Chicago's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, according to a story in the Chicago Tribune. 

Evans, who's building a career as a country singer, is the national spokesman for the Kids Fit Foundation, a Mokena-based youth health organization created by Evans and his mother. He will open for Bret Michaels, singing around 7:45 a.m., at the race finish line near Butler Field in Grant Park, the report said. The race starts at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Evans appeared on Biggest Loser Couples in 2008 with his mom, losing 136 pounds (his mom lost 89 pounds). He was voted as the season's fan favorite.
