'Biggest Loser' Contestant in Town to Perform at Marathon

Frankfort native Dan Evans will open for Bret Michaels as part of Chicago's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Frankfort native and Biggest Loser contestant Dan Evans will perform at Chicago's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, according to a story in the Chicago Tribune

Evans, who's building a career as a country singer, is the national spokesman for the Kids Fit Foundation, a Mokena-based youth health organization created by Evans and his mother. He will open for Bret Michaels, singing around 7:45 a.m., at the race finish line near Butler Field in Grant Park, the report said. The race starts at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

Evans appeared on Biggest Loser Couples in 2008 with his mom, losing 136 pounds (his mom lost 89 pounds). He was voted as the season's fan favorite.
