Dress Rehearsals Under Way for Lincoln-Way East's Spring Musical, 'The Music Man'
Area residents invited to enjoy such classics as 'Till There Was You' and 'Seventy-Six Trombones' as the Music Department brings back the Broadway hit April 26-28.
Enjoy such classics as “Till There Was You” and “Seventy-Six Trombones” as the Music Department at brings the Broadway hit, The Music Man, back to the stage April 26-28.
Students are busy learning their lines for the musical, which revolves around a con man who poses as a boys’ band organizer and leader who sells band instruments and uniforms to naïve townsfolk before skipping town with the cash. He falls in love with a piano teacher, however, and risks being caught to win her.
“These kids have worked so hard, the show is very entertaining and they do an amazing job telling the story,” said choral director Bridget Quealy.
