
What is the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and how do they serve the community?
Join Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet Community Ombudsman personnel to learn more about their role as an Ombudsman, which is a federally mandated advocacy program that educates and empowers residents of long-term care facilities. Ombudsman work on the behalf of residents to protect their rights and to ensure those rights are being recognized. Through their advocacy, they work to support those most vulnerable and for the betterment of facility home life from the resident's view.
