Celebrate Earth Day In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — Earth Day is April 22, and residents can celebrate with the Frankfort Park District at Main Park.

The park district will hold the free Earth Day celebration from noon to 2 p.m. on April 22.

Families can come to Main Park, and there will be kid-friendly games, activities, crafts, giveaways and more, according to the park district website. Each family will also receive a tree sapling to plant.

If it rains, the event will be held inside at Founders Community Center.
