Chicago Bird Collision Monitors: Migratory Bird Rescue and Protection
Wednesday, November 5 @ 7 PM!

It is estimated that over a billion birds in North America are killed each year as a result off striking windows. Chicago Bird Collision Monitors (CBCM) is an all volunteer program for the rescue and protection of migratory birds that face the hazards of colliding with buildings as a result of confusing lights and reflective and transparent glass in building windows and lobbies. Annette Prince with the CBCM will give a PowerPoint presentation about this successful conservation project and the birds it has saved. She will also share ways you can make your own home more “bird-friendly.” PLEASE NOTE: Talk will take place at the Frankfort Square Park District Nature Center, 7530 W. Braemar Lane, Frankfort, IL 60423. Registration is required. To register or for more information go to www.frankfortlibrary.org or call 815-534-6173.
