UPDATE: 'Contagion' Star Isn't Alone: 5 Famous Actors With Will County Ties

Abby Pivaronas: This Disney Channel TV star hails from Frankfort and is a grad. She also hasn't forgotten where she grew up. .

Denise Richards: Born in Downers Grove, the Wild Things and Starship Troopers actress grew up in Mokena. Recently, she has starred in her own reality TV series, as well as been a co-star in the celebrity drama that is the life of Charlie Sheen, her ex-husband.

John Barrowman: The star of the Doctor Who TV spinoff Torchwood was born in Scotland, but his family moved to Joliet when he was young, and he attended Joliet West High School. That gives Barrowman the rare ability to speak with authentic American and Scottish accents. 

Andy Dick: Another out-of-towner who moved to Joliet, Dick graduated from Joliet West High School. The comedic actor has been brilliant in series like The Ben Stiller Show and NewsRadio, but unfortunately, he's more famous for his drug-fueled sexploits. 

Andy Rapp: He's an actor whose name isn't familiar, but you'd recognize his face if you have even the slightest interest in musical theater. Rapp, who attended Joliet Junior High School, is best known for his role of Mark Cohen in the off-Broadway, Broadway and film productions of Rent. He also had a part in the iconic Chicago movie Adventures in Babysitting.
