Dog Egg Hunt Planned In Frankfort

The Frankfort Park District will hold a Super Dog Egg Hunt on April 1, at 1:30 p.m., at Bark Park.

FRANKFORT, IL — Spring is upon us; and that means it's time for egg hunts and visits from the Easter bunny. In Frankfort, you can even let the family dog in on the fun.

The Frankfort Park District will hold a Super Dog Egg Hunt on April 1, at 1:30 p.m., at Bark Park at Commissioners Park near 80th Avenue and Sauk Trail.

The free event, sponsored by Bentley's Pet Stuff, will include a treat-filled egg hunt for your dog, dog-friendly vendors, and a photo opportunity with Peter Cottontail. The park district said families and all friendly dogs are welcome at this on-leash event.

An adult should accompany dog-owners under the age of 12. Gates will open at 1:20 p.m. and the egg hunt will start at approximately 1:30 pm.
