56th Annual Park Forest Art Fair

The Park Forest Art Fair is the second oldest juried art fair in Chicaqoland.  The 56th Annual Art Fair will be held on Sunday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18 from 10 to 5 in Downtown Park Forest, which is adjacent to Village Hall.  Participating artists will be coming from as far away as California and New Hampshire.  Artworks on display will represent a wide variety of media from painting, print-making, pastels and photography to ceramics, jewelry, wood, glass and fiber arts.  On Saturday, the Village will host a music fest with musical groups performing jazz, pop and blues.  On Sunday, fest favorite Patchouli will perform all day.  There are many activities for children including an art contest and tie dying.  While visiting the fair, stop in at the Gallery to view an exhibit by Tall Grass Arts Association Gallery Artists.  For more information, check out the Tall Grass Facebook Page, website (tallgrassarts.org) or call the gallery at (708) 748-3377.
