The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra is producing "Scrooge! The Musical" at Lincoln-Way East High School on Dec. 18-19 at 3pm.
Named the "2010 Professional Orchestra of the Year" by the Illinois Council of Orchestras, the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra annually presents and performs the popular Harris Holiday Concerts, a staple of winter holiday entertainment across the Chicago Southland. For the first time, the IPO will replace one half of this program with a semi-staged production of "Scrooge! The Musical," under the artistic direction of Etel Billig and music direction of Carmon DeLeone, the orchestra's music director.
