The Music Connection of Frankfort plans an open house on Feb. 26 from 3-6 p.m. Interested visitors may tour the facility, which includes seven teaching rooms, large rehearsal room, music library and instrument repair room.
The Music Connection offers quality music lessons for all ages and abilities, Suzuki and traditional for violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, piano and voice.
The early childhood program, Music in the Box, is especially geared to preschool ages newborn to 4 and their parent to learn the rudiments of music that will be conducive to later success in vocal and instrumental study.
Ten-week classes in Suzuki violin or piano for children ages 4-7 are offered so that children and parents can see if they are ready for private music instruction.
"We are eager to meet the families in Frankfort who are looking for quality music lessons for their children or themselves," said Janet Kuester, director. "We have lessons available at convenient times, comfortable chairs in the studios where parents can observe their children's lessons, and large waiting areas."
The open house is from 3-6 p.m. Tours will be from 3-4 p.m. There will be a 4 p.m. recital featuring violin and piano students with refreshments and tours to follow.
