Ex-Police Chief Named Frankfort Village Administrator

FRANKFORT, IL -- Robert "Rob" Piscia has been an assistant village administrator, human resources director, finance director and police chief at some point over the past three decades, and will now add village administrator to the list of roles he has served Frankfort. The Frankfort Village Board officially appointed Piscia to the village administrator position during its Monday night meeting this week, according to a news alert from the village.

Piscia has served in the role of interim village administrator since June, when former longtime Village Administrator Jerry Ducay left Frankfort to accept a similar position in Texas.

Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland said that the village received more than 35 applicants for the full-time village administrator position, but found that Piscia's qualifications and experience were "superior."

“Rob knows Frankfort’s issues and people. He is an excellent communicator and he works well with individual residents," Holland said. "We know Rob to be honest, ethical and well respected by our employees and his peers. Rob will make an excellent Village Administrator for our community.”

Piscia and his wife, Leslie have lived in Frankfort for 23 years and their three children are all alums of Lincoln-Way East High School. He is a member of the Illinois City Managers Association, Illinois Government Finance Officers Association, Will County Administrators and Managers and the Society for Human Resource Managers as well as a certified floodplain manager and police chief.
