Frankfort Announces Performers for 'September Sunset Music'

The Village of Frankfort and the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the 2014 performers for the “September Sunset Music Series” at the Green in downtown Frankfort (corner of White Street and Kansas Street). The “September Sunset Music Series” will provide an opportunity to enjoy outdoor music in September in downtown Frankfort.

Sunday, September 7 will feature Keith Scott, a blues performer, and Sunday, September 14 will feature Gritman&Moran, a multi-genre acoustic duo. Both concerts will be one hour in length from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy these free outdoor concerts.

In case of weather, the concerts will be held at the Frankfort Park District’s Founders Center, 140 Oak St.

“This outdoor music series provides an opportunity to enjoy the autumn season at in downtown Frankfort. The early evening allows time to enjoy shopping and dinner in our downtown district. Thanks to the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce for their cooperation”, said Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland.
