Frankfort Board OKs 2027 Budget
The 2027 budget shows revenues of $45,413,200 and expenditures of $61,836,900.
FRANKFORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Frankfort Village Board approved its fiscal year 2027 budget, with revenues of $45,413,200 and expenditures of $61,836,900.
"We start this [budget] process early with staff, and we work through the winter and early spring," Mayor Keith Ogle said. "And back in February, the Board members, we all met, to go over and make sure our priorities are aligned for this, and that we're providing the best services we can for Frankfort."
Projected expenditures are higher than the projected revenues in this year's budget. According to Board documents, "this planned use of reserves reflects the Village's continued investment in long-term infrastructure and capital improvements."
