Frankfort Chamber Holds Inaugural Women In Business Awards

The Chamber said it created this event to honor some local hardworking female executives, entrepreneurs and employees.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Chamber of Commerce is presenting its inaugural Women in Business Awards next month.

The Chamber said it created this event to honor some local hardworking female executives, entrepreneurs and employees. There are six different award categories: Behind the scenes, community supporter, inspirational leader, family business, future star and outstanding mentor.

The award ceremony will be held on March 22 at CD&ME. Tickets are $45 for Frankfort Chamber members and $55 for non-members to attend this event. A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, the Chamber said.

45 women have been nominated in the six categories, according to the Chamber. Voting closes on Feb. 24, and is open to the public.
