Frankfort Cops Best Firefighters In Buona Beef Eating Competition
One Frankfort police officer ate five Buona beef sandwiches in six minutes during a competition between police officers and firefighters.

FRANKFORT, IL -- The Frankfort Police Department won bragging rights over the Frankfort Fire Department in a beef eating competition over the weekend at he newly opened Buona Beef restaurant on La Grange Road.
Police Officer Mark Thompson ate the most beefs of all who were in the contest, downing five in just six minutes. Fire Chief Robert Wilson was the second best eater, putting down four-and-a-half.
Each contestant was given five beef sandwiches and six minutes to eat as much as possible. In all, the three police officers ate 13 beefs, while the three fire department representatives at 11.5.

Police Chief John Burica, Officer Joe Sroka and Officer Chad Riff also took part from the Frankfort Police Department. Wilson was joined by two colleagues on the Frankfort Fire Department.
