Frankfort Fall Fest Set to Open Wednesday
Superheroes, music, craft, food and more will swoop into Frankfort Wednesday, August 27.

A south suburban favorite festival will kick off Wednesday—with a ”super” lineup.
Frankfort’s 46th annual Fall Festival—themed ‘Everyday Heroes’—is anticipated to bring in up to 300,000 people in its weekend-run in downtown historic Frankfort, off of LaGrange Road and Old Frankfort Way.
Activities include a craft fair, food and entertainment tent, and more, all organized by volunteers and sponsored by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and dozens of local civic organizations. The theme pays homage to individuals who work to make their communities a better place, chairman Keith Ogle told Sun-Times Media.
