“Frankfort is known as the “Jewel of the South Suburbs,” and we think Fido would agree. There are punny pet stores and groomers like Chew on This Dog Barkery, A Paw-Fect Cut, and Hair of the Dog Spa & Boutique. There are several highly rated vets like the Frankfort Animal Care Center.
And perhaps best of all, especially for dogs, are the nine different parks dotted around the community. Head to Old Plank Road Trail for a visit and you and your pup will probably want to pack up and move here.”
The top 10 communities included (in order):
- Frankfort
- Crete
- Barrington
- Lake Bluff
- Wilmette
- Mokena
- Countryside
- Lemont
- Monee
- Itasca
“We are pleased that Movoto recognizes how friendly Frankfort is to pets. Pets are a part of family friendly communities and the Village will continue to support all responsible pet owners,” said Mayor Jim Holland.
