Frankfort Police Officers Rescue Baby Deer
The baby deer was found with a broken leg on Tuesday.

FRANKFORT, IL — While normally Frankfort police officers help out humans, they also won't turn away a baby deer in need. Police said on Tuesday, they found a fawn with a broken leg.
Settler's Pond Shelter took in the deer and gave her the medical attention she needed, police said. The deer is now receiving care at Critter Crossing in Chicago Heights.
Police said they have received an update that the deer is on the road to recovery.
