Luxury Movie Theater Rolls through Plan Commission
Commission gives thumbs up, sends the agenda item on to Village Board.

A proposed luxury movie theater cruised through the Frankfort Plan Commission last week, with the group's recommendation for approval by the Village Board.
Emagine Entertainment is closer to moving into its new home at the vacant Dominick's, 19965 S. LaGrange Rd.
The 75,000-square-foot Frankfort location will house 10 screens and about 1,300 powered reclining chairs. The location will feature Emagine’s “E-max” premium large format auditorium, reserved seating, and enhanced premium food and beverage offerings. The lobby will include 19-seat bar, table seating, a gas fireplace and a player piano, Daily Southtown reports.

Valet parking will be available, and patrons can select their seats online ahead of time, or at a kiosk in the lobby. Alcohol will be available for purchase until 1 a.m. (or 30 minutes after the last showtime, whichever comes first).
And don't miss the stone pizza oven for custom-made pizzas. The location could play host to children's parties, with a party room available in the back of the building.
