• Frankfort Bar Burglarized Again, Gaming Machines Destroyed: Sheriff (patch.com) — Residents in Frankfort are being warned after The Chill House bar on West Lincoln Highway was hit by burglars for the second time in just over a month. Early Monday, three masked suspects with sledgehammers smashed their way in, destroyed gaming machines to grab cash drawers, and fled before deputies arrived. Will County Sheriff's officials say they're working with other departments in a task force to combat similar smash-and-grab crimes targeting gambling machines.
