Prestwick golf outing to benefit District 157-C students

Sponsored by the District 157-C Education Foundation

The community is invited to a golf outing at the beautiful Prestwick Country Club on Monday, July 13, to benefit the students of Frankfort School District 157-C. This third annual event will be hosted by the 157-C Education Foundation. All proceeds will directly benefit the children of Grand Prairie Elementary, Chelsea Intermediate and Hickory Creek Middle Schools through teacher-written grants for projects and materials in the areas of art, literacy, technology, math, music, physical education, science, social studies and character-building programs.

The event will give community members an opportunity to golf the private country club course for a $155 per person entry fee. Registration and access to the practice facilities begin at 10:30 a.m. The golf outing includes eighteen holes of golf with a cart, a four-player scramble and a shotgun start at noon on the Prestwick course. It also includes a forecaddie per foursome, box lunch and dinner. The registration deadline is July 6 via http://www.ef157c.org. Sponsorship is also open to local area businesses and community members.

New this year, registered golfers are invited to bring their families to swim at Prestwick Country Club the day of the outing for a fee of $15 per person. Passes must be purchased through the Education Foundation by July 6.
