Rezoning Approved For Townhome Development In Frankfort

The project is located at the northwest corner of Laraway Road and 116th Avenue.

FRANKFORT, IL — At its meeting on Monday, the Frankfort Village Board approved a rezoning for the Misty Creek Townhouse development. The Board approve a rezoning from estate residential district To R-4 attached single family residential district.

The Board previously approved preliminary plans for the 32-unit townhome development this past fall. The project is located at the northwest corner of Laraway Road and 116th Avenue.

The special use permit for a planned unit development, the development plan and plat approvals will be scheduled for a later meeting, according to Board documents.

The applicant for the project is Flaherty Builders, Inc., out of Mokena. The project calls for four triplexes and 10 duplexes, according to Board documents.
