Mokena VFW Collects Toys For Local Families

You can drop off donations until Dec 11 from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Mokena VFW.

MOKENA, IL — If you're looking for a way to give back this holiday season, the Mokena VFW will be collecting toys and distributing them to local families. According to the event flyer, unwrapped new toys can be dropped off at the VFW, 19852 Wolf Road.

Face masks are required when dropping off the toys. The toys will be distributed through the Frankfort Township food pantry, which helps families in need in Mokena, Frankfort and parts of Tinley Park and Orland Park.
