School District 157-C Special Olympics Team wins at regional tournament
Frankfort Cheetahs team does an excellent job in first gymnastics competition
Frankfort School District 157-C is proud to announce that its Special Olympics athletes brought back three Gold medals, one Silver medal, one Fourth Place award and one Fifth Place award from the Regional Special Olympics Gymnastics Tournament held at Palatine High School.
The “Frankfort Cheetahs” Girls Team participated in the Ribbons competition. Jaden Gryga won a Gold award, Reilly Murray won a Gold award, Kiera Schroder won a Silver Award and Paige VanderWould won a Fourth Place award.
The “Frankfort Cheetahs” Boys Team participated in the Floor competition. Parker Anderson won a Gold award, Joey Barrett won a Gold award and Gianni Klauba won a Fifth Place award.

The team’s Head Coaches are Cari Clousing and Lori Stanevicius. Coaches include Taylor Kymbrough, Felicia Bysina, Mitch Stein, Kathleen Spiller and Eileen Nelson.
