• Concordia Nebraska Confers Degrees to 2026 Graduates (rcreader.com) — Geneseo readers can celebrate local student Jake Nelms, who just earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University, Nebraska’s class of 2026. The commencement in Seward honored nearly 500 graduates and featured a faith-centered address about vocation, grace, and lifelong purpose from campus chaplain Pastor Ryan Matthias. 
• FFA April Update: Budding Our Way into Spring — Geneseo Current (geneseocurrent.com) — Local FFA members are wrapping up a busy spring packed with contests, awards, and leadership milestones, including strong showings in Parliamentary Procedure and Conduct of Chapter Meetings. Students were honored at the April 17 banquet with Greenhand and Chapter Degrees, special chapter awards, and recognition for seniors recommended for the prestigious Illinois State FFA Degree.
