1 Taken To Hospital After Geneva House Fire

The blaze remains under investigation.

GENEVA, IL -- A house fire Wednesday that has displaced one person remains under investigation, the Daily Herald reports. Authorities responded to the blaze at about 8 p.m. after a neighbor called 911 when they saw smoke and flames coming from the residence in the 200 block of Kansas Street.

The homeowner was able to get safely out of the home on their own and was taken to the Delnor Hospital, according to the Daily Herald.
